Protecting Yourself from
Recruitment Scams

We are aware of fraudsters impersonating JonDavidson consultants to deceive jobseekers. Your safety is our priority — please read this page carefully.

🚨

JonDavidson has not been compromised

We want to assure all candidates and clients that JonDavidson’s systems, data, and infrastructure remain fully secure. Scammers are independently impersonating our brand and consultants — they have no affiliation with us whatsoever. We are actively monitoring and working to report these fraudulent activities.

Warning Signs: How to Spot a Scam

Fraudsters are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Here are the most common red flags to watch out for:

  • !
You receive an unsolicited message on WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook) claiming to be from a JonDavidson consultant offering you a job.
  • !
The offer sounds too good to be true — high pay for minimal effort, work-from-home tasks, or “guaranteed” income with no interview required.
  • !
You are asked to pay a fee, deposit, or purchase items (e.g. gift cards, vouchers) as part of a “job requirement” or “training programme.”
  • !
The sender’s email does not end in @jondavidsongroup.com. Scammers often use Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, or slightly altered domains such as jondavidsons.com or jon-davidson.net.
  • !
You are asked to provide sensitive personal or financial information — such as your bank account number, NRIC, or passport details — before any formal job offer or interview.
  • !
The LinkedIn or social media profile of the supposed consultant has few connections, no work history, a generic photo, or was created recently.
  • !
You are pressured to act quickly, sign documents immediately, or keep the “opportunity” confidential.
